Stop Motion Cut-Paper Advocacy

In 2009, I was approached to create an advocacy video for the Center for Responsible Lending highlighting the issue of overdraft fees.

The client's concept was to riff off the kid's game Hungry, Hungry Hippos and create a lighthearted video showing how banks were gobbling up your dollars using overdraft fees. I came back to them with a stop-motion cut-paper animation concept, and they decided to run with it.

Using this video, the client launched a letter writing campaign to the Federal Reserve, urging them to write a rule to regulate these fees.

Hungry, Hungry Banks was produced for the Center for Responsible Lending in 2009.
