Miami-Dade Democrats Congratulate Sen. Kamala Harris for Being Picked As Vice President Biden’s Running Mate

We Will Work To Ensure Sen. Kamala Harris is the next Vice President of the United States

MIAMI-DADE: Today, Vice President Joe Biden’s campaign announced that he had picked Senator Kamala Harris to be his running mate. The Miami-Dade Democratic Party released the following statement congratulating the pair.

Statement from Steve Simeonidis, Chair of the Miami-Dade Democratic Party:

“Vice President Biden has chosen an extraordinary public servant to become the next Vice President of the United States. Not only will Senator Kamala Harris be the first woman vice president, and the first Black and Asian Vice President in our nation’s history, she will also help us restore the soul of the nation. We have no doubt the Biden-Harris administration will bring back honor and dignity to the White House, get the pandemic under control by listening to science, and put our economy back on track by reinvesting in American workers.”
