Project: Holding the Line — Cindy Lerner for County Commission, District 7

Client: Cindy Lerner for County Commission
Role: Video Producer & Editor | Campaign Messaging Strategist

Client Objective:

Cindy Lerner ran for Miami-Dade County Commission to challenge a pattern of unchecked development and political dealmaking that was reshaping South Florida’s landscape—often against the will of longtime residents. Running against incumbent Raquel Regalado, Lerner’s campaign needed to rally grassroots support and draw sharp, visual contrasts on issues like overdevelopment, environmental protection, and government ethics.

Our Solution:

I produced a three-part ad series combining community testimony, news footage, and motion graphics to hold Commissioner Regalado accountable for her record. The videos were emotionally resonant, factually grounded, and designed to be shareable across digital platforms.

  • “Do Not Tear This Playhouse Down” featured Coconut Grove advocates speaking out against the planned demolition of the historic Playhouse, highlighting Regalado’s reversal on the issue after taking office.

  • “Pivotal Vote” captured Regalado’s critical decision to move the Urban Development Boundary, clearing the way for developers to build on sensitive Everglades-adjacent wetlands—despite the mayor’s veto and community opposition.

  • “Raquel Regalado Is Working for the Developers” gave voice to everyday residents frustrated by rising corruption, loss of community spaces, and Regalado’s increasing financial entanglements.
